Using Color Variables in developer handoffĬolor Variables are great for keeping colors consistent between design and code projects. Note: We’ve released a Color Variables Migrator plugin that makes it easy to apply Color Variables to Layers and Styles in older documents. From there, select the color or Color Variable you want to find within your design and the color or Color Variable you want to replace it with.Įnable “Include all opacities of this color” to find all colors with different alphas, but the same RGB or HEX values.Įnable “Preserve original opacity” to keep those different alphas intact when you replace the color. Editing Color Variables from the Components View If you want to edit Color Variables from a Library, you will have to edit them in their Library document. Keep in mind you can only edit Color Variables that are local to your document. Click on Edit Variable and pick a new color.
